I tried the chrome forks but they just didn't look right to me. I decided to go ahead and paint the fork and truss rods. I left the springs and rockers chrome. I didn't sand the chrome so I could strip the paint if i didn't like it.

So far I am liking them painted. What do you guys think?

Looks better painted, doesn't seem like the wrong fork for the bike anymore. Still glad you didnt sand the chrome underneath though

I agree that it looks better with the blacked out fork. Man, I love what you do to the seat tubes!
