Anyone have an opinion on this CL bike? It's listed for $50. description is "Vintage Murray early 60s" Chainguard says "Venture."

I have no doubt its a Murray from the shape of the dropouts.

I think its a Murray too, but the frame is the same as a Flightliner. It even has the tab on the head tube for mounting the tank.
Check your SN on the left rear dropout. Could be a Sears or Higgins.

-Worth $50 IMHO.

Murray made for sure, what name brand is another thing. There may be a name or head badge under the repaint. Fork is bent, but that's not a deal breaker, just a bargaining chip. It probably is 60's with that twin top bar frame. I'd say it's well worth 50 bucks.

Passed on it. Forks weren't the only things bent. Frame also .Pedals barely turned and had a nasty grinding feel. More work than I can justify with my existing backlog of projects.
