MX bars

Looking for some mx style bars. Anyone use the felt mx bars? I like the Al's rapid transit bars but they are more than I really want to spend.

I've got a set of the felt bars. They're good bars, they were just to short for me. Excellant bar for the money.

Ive been using riser bars and these Chinese cross braces they are about $5 and need a repaint and deburring.

Yes, I wanted a bar that was tall, so I went with Mr. Ticks klunker bars.

I went with Renthal motorcyle bars on both my Cruiser and Klunker.. You can find them on CL for around $20 or so.. I hope this helps..

In my opinion, real moto bars are the class move; like Araya51, i have a thing for Renthals, but any 7/8"diameter moto bar will do w/ a BMX stem.

I just got a set of Al's Rapid Transit bars... the KOS knockoff version.... and they're really nice, for the price. Made in usa by a guy who loves ikes (and cars and motos, apparently, too)...

But i mostly wanna thank XC204 for the lead on these eBay clamp-on cheapies. Just ordered a few sets; I got plans for'm.

Some cool options. I really want a set of Al's bars. This time around I'm gonna try the felt bars.

Got a set of Mr Ticks waiting for my straight bar Spitfire to jump down from the garage attic and get worked on got some Renthals on my CB500-4 fork.......the fork is all that's done

I like the Al's Kos bars for my next build but I can't use them cuz I have an Ashtabula stem, being that it won't go through the center cross bar..
I need a bar that has the pinched cross bar ends so it would pass through the stem..
I sent a PM to the makers of Al's to see if they can make me a set of Kos bars but with the pinched cross bar ends and they said "No Can Do".. that they needed to make at least 50 bars.. So they told me to talk to Mr Tick's..
I guess I need to get a hold of Mr Tick's to see if he could make a set..

The Ticker is a great guy who'll bend over backwards for his customers.... i bet he'd do it, but he'd probably need a ton of lead time for it. That's just my guess; contact him for the real answer--one thing is for sure: if you email him today, he'll respond by tomorrow. I'm a repeat MR.Tick customer and i have great respect for his products and business practices.

I always forget about the skullskates stuff, probably b/c i've never seen it anywhere but online. Those bars do have a nice bend to them...

Thanks 808.. I'm going to do that.. I'm still on the toss up on which bars to put on the "Left Koast Kruiser"..

I just for home and found the felt bars waiting for me. They are real nice. Tig welded. They definitely are shorter than I was thinking but I'll try them out if I don't like them I'll buy some "Al's" bars.
I want to try something different with this. I need to pick up a stem.
