Picked this frame up from a member on here a while back in original worn faded and patina condition, loved the bike just wanted a fresher looking version of it. I finally decided this morning to take it back down and repaint it. After not being able to get the bike to ever ride straight with the original fork I shopped around and found a really nice late 50's Murray fork that was a perfect match without any modds. It also is a little lower profile with a little more rake so it gives it a little more of a custom look, painted it apple red, really liking it. I also have the original Schwinn Quality Chicago decals for the feather chaingaurd and seatpost, as well as 3 sets of white frame and fork darts on order, can't wait to get em and put em on, gonna look good. Also gave me a chance to repack the head and crank bearing with good quality full synthetic grease, very quiet and smooth rider. Heres a couple of pics.
