Nice, I learned how to drive on its big brother the 411 squareback and a first year automatic bus. Someone in my town of Oswego, New York has a paneled squareback.

i miss my 72 squareback. the guys on samba would always rib me calling it a "pig nose square" but i think they were just jealous that i had disk brakes

I had a 67 Squareback that I bought for $50 and installed a freebie engine, this was back in the late 80's. I ended up chopping the top 4" and turned it into a panel delivery. Eventually I traded it out for another project, but I wish I still had it.
