I started this hobby when I was about twelve with a 24 inch Jc Higgins women's bike. I'm now going on sixteen and here are the bikes I own or have owned and sold in the last few years.

man you have/have had some sweet bikes! i wish i got started that early. i like the black and orange higgins. big fan of skirt guards here :D where do you find your bikes?

Thanks all! My favorite style is undoubtedly, and has always been, '50's cruisers. :D

Chris, what's the second one down? I like that one..

Nice job at Hot Tubes BTW.

Thanks Walker, I really appreciate that. That was one I never should have sold. I wish I still had it. It was a very stock 1949 Colson- not badged as a flying ace, oddly enough. It had the standard Colson badge. It really was the nicest/smoothest riding, most solid bike I've owned.

Wow, I'd be impressed if you were 45, let alone 16!
Some great bikes, and even more great taste - congrats!

you've got excellent taste kid! ever consider building a 50s custom car too? i get the feeling you're one of the few that could pick up a saw, hammer and torch and chop a top perfectly. nice bikes.

Thanks! I love custom cars, especially of the '50's, and that's where my ideas usually come from. :D As of right now I'm sticking with bikes though.

When I was a kid in the early 80s, I dreamed of having a balloon tire tanker! I had my Schwinn Corvette, and a few Sting Rays, but the old cruisers were gone from northern NJ at that time! (Or, sleeping in barns and garages..) Which is probably why I became a bike maniac..again! Nice to have such an impressive stable at that age!

Very nice collection. A little bit of everything. The Colson with the looptail is a favorite. And your stretch is out of sight. I like the taildragger look to it.
