My buddy's find but not sure what it is?

He got it from another buddy's dad who picked it up at a auction

We both thought the rear rack was really cool rat trap but we don't know what the hole could be for but I got something that might work but won't know till I get it ?

Can any one tell me any thing about it thanks

It's a Spaceliner style bike, probably a Western Flyer Cosmic Flyer or something like that. Mid 60's. It's missing the tank, unfortunately.

Mid 60s Sears Spaceliner. It's Murray built, the serial number can be decoded. The hole is for a light, similar to what you have

Thanks for the info and I will take a look at that and post the serial number tomorrow when I get it to know what it is. It's funny he thought it was a wester flyer and I thought it was a Higgins but either way its cool

Mine is also missing the rear light. The Hole works perfect as a beer(or soda) holder!

Pretty sure it is a bicycle.

Gee, Who knew that bike was under all that dirt and rust.
Is it still your buddie's bike or are you going to tell him you misplaced it? It cleaned up really well.

Yea I'm working on a trade deal with him for cleaning it up for him he's giving a bike for my son.
