As found. House painted, but ridable. It's the black one in the middle

The frame has been stripped to bare metal, and I decided to just clear-coat it. Also have some bigger Whitewall tires on it now.

Ran into a little clearance problem with the fenders though. Now I know why so many custom bikes are fenderless.
Will add more pics later.

Can't go wrong with a classic Murray frame!

Maybe the old purple fenders can be stripped and used.

Had to say heck with the fenders for now... New tires are too much bigger, and rub. Gonna take some massaging if I want to run them.
Went for a ride today with my girls... I was the only one riding vintage iron...

Has all new bearings, and rides pretty good. Seat is a little low for me. Need to raise it up. I also have different grips for it, but can't figure out where I put them.
I really think I want to put one of those old Girvin mountainbike forks on it. Those things are just cool looking.
Also have been seeing some of the 26" BMX style builds, and the fenderless look is making me want to go that route. Maybe a BMX style seat and bars, and a different fork.
I'm definately not into the lowrider ape hangers and bent fork springer look.
This thing is cool, yet practical.
