today my wildest dreams came true! i got my first skip tooth 1935 wards hawthorne silver king !!!!!!!!!1111one!

was it a klunker??? nooooo! it looks like someone had a bad LBS

within a few minutes of my owning it.

finally a foot powered rare balloon in a sea of motor bikes-

wait! does the fork look bent?

i found out who did it!

Congratulations on your dreams coming true. Mine came true last fall when I found and bought the exact same bike in Wyoming of all places. I'm glad to see yours has the skip tooth. I was starting to wonder if mine was original or not, since the Monarch branded bikes seem to use regular chain. The skip tooth must have been a Hawthorne thing. Have fun with it.
