A buddy gave this to me so had to flat black all the chrome

was it easy to spay paint over the chrome?

The black looks really nice 8) , but I would have had a hard time throwing paint on a nice Electra. It does look nice though.

Can we see a closeup of how its mounted to the frame. Very nice fab work.

its mounted to the frame at the kickstand bolt holds it on.its welded to a L bracket on a peace of handlebar

I ditto that request! I totally dig your jockey shift and I will need to use something like this with the S/A three-speed hub I have. Keep up the great work!

rebuild for my wife got about $15 in it for the frame & paint did a total rebuild going to flat black the wheels

If any of you spray with a Automotive paint gun you might try some PPG Dp Epoxy primer, it sticks to anything and comes in 5-6 flat colors. Real good stuff, and you can also paint over it as a primer if needed. Holds up for a long time.
