my first 29er

I bought my first bike with 29 inch wheels/tires today.

A friend of mine bought it and then decided he needed a bike with gears. I got it for less than half the Walmart price.

At less than half price you did very well. How do the stock bars feel to you? I ask because I've set on a few of these bikes in store and I like them overall except for those huge handlebars. They are something easy to change though.

One bike that is on my "bucket list" that I want is a bike with 28" wheels/tires . I also want one with rod brakes. Maybe I can find both on the same bike! :idea:

I love the huge handlebars on mine, I feel like I'm operating some kind of big piece of equipment!

I have a couple other bikes with beach cruiser bars so the ones on the onyx don't feel too weird.
