My first bike...help ID please

I just found this pic my Mom had. Taken mid-late 1960s of me on my first bicycle . Can anyone give a positive ID on it? The original photo is bad,this is as much detail as I could get. Thanks for any help.

Looks like New Chrome.. so I would imagine they were made in the 60's,.. tank.. looks like a metal seat, so maybe a 16in. Schwinn.. Did Ross make tankers?

The badge design makes me think sears. Could be a Sears 16" "convertible".

Looks like a Sears head badge to me too. There's a different design on the tank also. Maybe it was a convertible bike, where the tank could be flipped to make it a girl's bike. I haven't seen anything like the design on the tank though.

Sears does make sense,we had a store locally. There were 5 boys and no girls ,can't imagine my Dad buying a convertible. You never know though,they named me Dale. Seriously though,we did not have much money.Maybe the price was right and he bought what he could afford.
