This is what I started with.
What I think is an early '50's Monark built Western Flyer middleweight.
I then added some fenders and tracked down a tank from a member here (i cant remember his name but I am grateful) plus a fork swap to fit the front fender.
Then it was time to blast off the 3 layers of paint and get out the rattle cans. I went with a primary color of a satin red with gloss black accents and ended up with this.
I then decided it needed a really cool accessory...... A trailer! Problem is I can't weld so I used copper pipe and soldered it.
This is what the frame looked like roughed together
I then painted it to match the bike and used some hickory for the bottom and slats and ended up with this.
