Hey everyone! Here's a resto. I've done a few years back and documented on other Forums but since I've been looking alot on here, I figured I'd post some of my steeds, this is the one that started the Hobby.
To start it off, here's a peek of how it was when I bought it, in pieces!
Individual pieces:
-Rear fender: Correct & rusty.
-Front fender: Like new! (NOS).
-Seat Reflector: Minimal wear.
-Frame: rePainted, Hugger Yellow.
-Rear rim & Tire: Made in Canada Rims, 3-Speed Sturmey Archer Hub (dated 07-72) with a GTX-442 (moderately used).
-Front rim & Tire: Decent condition, 16 x 1.75 Ecole (Rib).
-Double brakes & brake levers: Badly pitted, on re-Chrome list.
-Fork: Good as new.
-Seat: Original, ripped & rusty.
-Chainguard: NOS.
-Crank & pedals: Not Original (Or a miscmatch of parts at the factory) 3-pcs cranks were officially on the Wedge/Spoiler counterpart of the Marauder.
-Sissy bar & clamps: Clamps are rusted, sissy is in good condition but slightly bent.
-Handlebar: Correct, needs cleaning , grips are still in good shape.
-Sportshift Shifter & cable: Wrong Shifter, comes from a CCM Scrambler.
At that time, missing parts were:
- A set of Decals.
- Set of white brake cable.
- Cones & bearings for the fork.
- Kickstand
- Side Reflectors

Later on the build, after a talk with the previous owner/seller, I've found the fork's missing cones & bearings (In the seller's possession), he sent them back free of charge along with the correct shifter. Sent parts that needed re-Chroming & messages to a local guy who made Marauder decal (and got a set), bought the cable housing & got the old seat recovered (and do I regret doing this decision! Not because it was bad, you'll see below).
-CCM Marauder stickers:
-Old seat re-Cover: Really nice job, olor is a bit off though.
Couple of days later I spot someone who is selling a whole bunch of parts, along with a NOS seat...
And therefore I got these:
-NOS seat:
-NOS seat clamps:
-NOS brake levers:

Furthermore on the build, I've came accross a set of reflectors that matches the ones that should be on, got contacted from a fellow member from MBF for a correct crankset (thanks Bikebuddy!), recieved the correct shifter, went to pick up re-Chromed parts and got myself a 20'' Trygg double-legged Kickstand to draftly match the kickstand portrayed on this advertisement of a (99% sure) 72' model:
Parts acquired:
-Side Reflectors:
-Sportshift Shifter & cable:
-Trygg double-legged Kickstand:
Re-Chromed Parts:
-Rear Fender:
-Handlebar:
-Brake Set:
To make the kickstand fit a 20x16 setup, the tires were over-inflated when I took the measures and 5.5cm of each legs were cut.
