i traded a bianchi road frame (cracked) a few weeks back for 2 cruisers one was a schwinn and one was a low rider they were in rough shape and this is the schwinn i am working on right now

i was just messing around with it seeing what i could do yo make the frame longer and sit better
all i need is a wheel set and to paint it and i will have her back together





how it sits as of now

usually im against chopping schwinns, but this looks pretty good sofar :wink:

wish i had a welder so i could fix my schwinn crusier..

i normally wouldnt chop a schwinn but the guy who had it before me ripped to kickstan/fender mount off and there were 2 holes on the bottom of the chain stays and it was pretty rusty so it was not worth fixing up, but ya a welder comes in handy i only have an arc welder a miller thunder bolt, and its a little challenging to weld on such thin tubing you can come across some pretty cheap welders on craigs list i got mine for 100 dollars with a makita chop saw 6 blades and about 80lbs of weld rods!
