I had this bike in 90-91. I bought the frame and built it up with parts from the shop I worked at. I was at my friends shop yesterday checking out his used bikes and was NO WAY my univega(I know its mine because I put every no fear sticker I could find on it........Cheesey)
. It is a late 80s with the u brake and at some point I put all stx parts on it. The crazy thing is I still have the stx hubs and wheels I was going to put on it way back then. Shes not the prettiest but I put a ton of miles on her. I will get her back into mechanical shape and roll her down the trails next week. After 25 years its cool to have her back!
