And as promised, new pics. I'm going riding later today with friend of mine who takes pretty good pics so I might have some even better ones later.

The grips are actually foam, but they're too cool

I'm on the fence about that luggage rack wood plate; maybe if I made it fit better with rounder corners it will look better.

If you are not likeing the rack you could try 3 slats menards sells 3/8 x1 1/2" oak that makes nice looks your square shape with sq hole is prob. what you don't like. you could take 3 slats put them across attach them with a cross piece front center and rear that clamps the rack bars between them and the top slats. This is my example on my RRBO5 bike.

1) Cherry looking rack there.

B) I grew up in Geneva, IL

Last I am a four season commuter for more years then I can count but that is a little easier here then there! Kudos. Tate

I actually got my luggage rack sorted out - I cut a new piece and stained it. I'll get pics later. Also, today I took off the wooden gas tank and stained it. Then I found a Rat Fink font on the interwebs and made a name for the bike. Which one do you like best?

I decided just to leave it blank and stain the wood. Here's some recent pics. If you notice, I put a piece of wood inlay on the chain guard and added an Army surplus medic bag to haul books and things around with. I also cut a new wood piece for the luggage rack. Some pinstripe stickers and headlight are on the way in the mail now.

Nothing special, just a headlight that came in the mail today.

I have two more parts I want to buy but there's problems with both. First is a springer fork, but it's hard to find a painted one with a 6"x1" steering tube. It has to be painted because it's going to get sprayed flat black, and spraypaint won't stick to chrome. Second is a set of powdercoated red rims with black spokes, but the site's been down for a looooong time so I don't even know when it'll even be back up :/

If anyone can help with this dilemma, I'll give you.....ehh.....an e-high five lol.

Pinstipes came in today. Twisted Chrome (twistedchrome.com) makes these stickers and has a huge selection on his site.
