My First Rat!

Hey Guys, I've always been inspired by the beautiful bikes you all build. Now it's time to build my own.

I'm using what I've got. An Old German Steyr Frame, and Old Womens Diamond Back, and a box of random parts.

Here's the Rolling Frame I put together tonight.

Work Done:
-Heat and Straighten Frame (found it on the freeway...slightly bent)
-Make Spacers for Yamaha Handle Bars
-Salvage Diamond Back Parts

What do you all think?

I'm envisioning a Flat Red Paintjob, with Polished Aluminum Wheels. And Maybe Tweed-like Bar Wrapping?
Tires will probably change to 27". The 26ers on their now will be a hassle to fit brakes onto. Probably gonna make a 5 speed.

I also have some old Aluminum Irrigation Sprinkler Pipe that I'm thinking might make a cool tank...somehow...

I'd love to hear Opinions, Ideas, Recommendations, etc...

i like it a lot , is a very nice bike also with the 26', and the handle bars are very unique :lol:
