She loves it! They are spoke wraps. They are plastic and fit tightly around the spokes. Not like the "straws" when we were kids. I think I got them on Amazon. $29.95. They look good up close.

Thanks! She's only 5 foot in shoes. Big bike for a small girl. That's why it has the laidback seat post. Yea, we are quite a pair! LOL
