My High Wheelers

I've had these since 1976. About the only time I ride them is in parades.

I like the flame seat and the Air Zound horn.

I almost bought one, just like those too.
But it needed serious work, total wheel rebuild, more spokes, hammering out the rim, etc. ND the fork needed to be welded.
After bidding went up to $80 I quit.

I guess the Air Zound is necessary on these things. They are great to give heart attacks to pedestrians on bike paths.

I've had them for thirty years. I used to ride the red one back and forth to work, about two miles each way. They are no different than riding a fixed gear bike,except your four feet up in the air. The hardest part is getting on the thing. lol
