It started out as a Sears with a three speed hub. Since then, I converted it to single speed (currently on a multispeed cog).

Right after I picked it up, I switched out the racer style bars for some that I took off of a kids trike that was found at the dumpster:

I cleaned up the frame, added some clear coat, crank and pedals from a salvaged Huffy Cranbrook, and wheels and tires from a donated Schwinn World Sport:

I should be picking up a proper cog and spacers this weekend.

Nicely done. Frame color was a great choice, Grips match the gumwall color. I like it.

The frame is actually the original color. I just sanded it a bit and sprayed some clear coat over it. I'm very please with the outcome. And the grips are original as well. When I first got the bike, they were closer to the color of mud. They cleaned up rather nicely with some hand cleaner, a tad bit of bathroom cleaner with bleach, and elbow grease.
