the company is called transition, its a small company from the US east coast. they desing their bikes but the frames are handbuilt in factory in taiwan(like 90% of the bikes now anyway). other than a custom made frame this is one of the best trailbike frame you can get..it has set me back 800$ whit the staff deal!

I know what you mean. A small company here in Montreal designed an urban bike and the guy told me that if it was built outside China it would have cost double the retail price. The few bikes not made in China now are old bikes. Hmmm, this could be a selling point on Craigslist, "made in Canada vintage bike".
