Why do those wheels look so out of proportion to the car? how big are they?

Your VW looks fantastic! Agree with you on lifting it a tad and as for front suspension! you would never get away with a car on English roads with no suspension! My old bay is just resting on the back stops...but at least its all there! :lol: Pin stripping looks cool as well! What year? mid 1960's??

It's actually a 67 with early fenders/lights and the drums converted to the old 5 lug. I finally sold the lemon peeler so now I plan on putting a new rebuilt stock beam on the front and just do drop spindles to lower it. Future plans are a front disc brake conversion and get the minor bodywork done.

Ahh 40 inch custom one offs..custom tires with no air..I call them rubberbands..
