I picked this up a few weeks ago, March 1981 Mongoose Freemag SE. Bike is rough shape but all the hard hard find Freemag parts are intact, the double clamp stem, free wheel Motomag II's, Dia-Compe pre bent lever and 890 rear caliper. I didn't totally realize what I had when I picked it up, just knew I had a Mongoose with Motomags and I've been looking for a bike that met that description to build to build. Hope to start the tear down this weekend. Stay tuned for more progress soon I hope.
