My Pre War Silver King Too

Well, just finished riding the old bike and wanted to take a moment to post some pics. It was a basket case I foolishly bought complete with bent fork, wadded up fenders and missing seat, stem, bars and truss rods. So now it is a rider with its girl's toolbox seat and aluminum cruiser bars...had to buy a girls bike to get enough parts to get it where it is now but it rides great. Only need a 24" dropstand to call her done...for now at least...

ahh, so youve been snatching up all the parts!

it looks great - still looking for some fenders and a light for mine... so far i have the frame, wheels, bars a deep sprung troxel and.. um... thats about it.

The bike was more than I wanted to spend but it came with fenders, reflector and rims and that was the only reason I bought it. I was bummed when I found out the fork was bent...the seller told me he had another fork but 3months later-still no fork so I had to buy the girls to get the rest of the parts.
