Thanks for the compliment on my BFK.
I used vintage Schwinn parts on my build to emulate the Apple Krate I received for my 10th birthday back in 1971. The exception is the 1968 Stik-Shift I selected because the BFK's frame color and white seat reminded me of the original Krates introduced in 1968 rather than the "S" shaped shifters found on later models with vinyl covered seats that matched the frame color. This bike is a blast to ride and regenerated an interest in building bikes as I am gathering parts for my next project, a 1950s Schwinn Middleweight, that like my BFK melds vintage parts with modern components.
