Just a little FYI...that is probably not a Schwinn Frame and it's probably much older than a 53. Most companies ditched the reverse dropouts right before WW2. A 53 schwinn looks just like a later model with the stamped dropouts that favce forwards. I would guess by looking at that bike is is probably a late 30's early 40's and maybe a Clevland Welding frame (they made bikes for several companies). Still very cool and looks to be in great shape...have fun with it!
