Well chain is on and took it for a test ride. Going to take some getting use to, but so far so good! Need to make a little room in the back for the chain, rubs a little.

what seems to be the hardest to get used to? stretch to handlebars of leg stretch?

Riding it. These spring front-ends are not the sturdiest to ride. I had a lowrider bike back in the day and it also took some getting used to.

i'd better keep this in mind with my build then!! mind you right now i am thinking about putting a 1950s springed fork on it

That seat post looks a bit scary to be honest but I see you put a brace on it so should be ok.

Like the stand too BTW.

Keen to see this painted.

Yeah I've got the hang of it, rides great! Seat post is super sturdy, but I might enclose it anyway.
It's really comfortable to ride. The brown went on last night, so a little more prep and then some green!
