Hey, this project have been under construction since spring.
In summer when I was in Slovenia I made another fixie, so I did
have already some experiense of these bikes when I continued it
now in autumn.
Bike is late80's Peugeot (I found stamp "1988" from brakes)
which I wanted to convert "barn find 1920's Track bike".
I dint wanna make straight copy of that era, so I let space
for some nowadays parts.
Original wheels were tubes, which I replaced whit some semi deep
rigidas. Those rims I sand more round and painted them "patina black".
On rear wheel I made regular spoking and in front "old style" direct spoking.
Tires are black shwalbes.
Rear hub is 20's NewDeparture Racer which I welded fixed.
Front hub is same age F&N. BB and Cranks are from 30's
ladies bike and found from swamp. Pedals are Peugeots own.
Cranks I will shorten 1,5cm when I get my gas bottle back.
Chains are 5/8" and thats why 44-18 sprockets looks so big.
Actually I got idea for whole bike when I get that front chain ring.
Here is pics of bike when I already change some stuff:
