I'm not really into the BMX stuff, but I have always loved mag wheeled bikes, especially the Huffy pro thunder's. This one was given to me free by some friends of my dad who didn't want it. Everything is seeminly original, except for the mismatched tires, and the coaster brake's cog, which I changed from an 18T to an original/NOS 14T. It's cleaning up nicely where I've begun. The coaster brake works incredibly well, and the whole bike is in really nice shape. The mags are "Troxel trakmaster". It doesn't seem to have been used much. It just needs a good cleaning and re-lube, as well as tightening the headset up again (rather loose). I'm really pumped, as I've secretly wanted one of these for a while. I'm going to replace the tires eventually... what, in the opinion of all you guys, would be better- some fat little whitewalls, or the gumwall/blue tread?

Oh man...I had that exact bike as a kid....color, grips, everything.

Brought back some good memories seeing those pics.

sweet score bro! I wanted one real bad as a kid!My buddy had a black and red one.he wouldnt trade me no matter how much trade bait I threw at him!HAHA

A friend of mine had that exact bike when we were kids.
I would have to say the blue/gumwall would be the way to go.
Also, the front tire was what I remember being on that bike...the snake belly tread. I always liked those tires:)

Cool! Thanks for the opinion- and that would make sense, seems to me, looking at the old bikes I've had, that the front tire always wore slower than the rear. I like the "snakebelly" tread so much better than the knobby myself.
