The serial number on the frame is K276? 96 and I think the ?=a 7 or a 1.
I think the original color was a neat looking red, but the frame is now mostly silver with a red over that is flaking off. From what I can tell, the silver is like a primer.
The last two parts I have to get off the frame is the seat post/seat and the right pedal from the crank assembly.
After that, its time for some deep cleaning of the BBC and Head Tube, some new grease, and a new seat. I'm curious to see if the old tubes will take/hold air before I source some new fat rubber for the bike.
For now I'm going to leave it in the rattled out state, then if my daughter likes it we'll come up with a paint job to make it "hers".
Now to research the stuck seatpost removal how to's after taking care of some "honey do's".
