Mmmm... let´s see, you can still find American cars, pre war and pre 60´s. Most off them neglected, missing parts or rusted to the ground. Second problem is everyone that has them think they cost their wight in gold, so if you are lucky you´ll get a nice resto project for big bucks and then keep spending money to import the missing parts and working on it. It will cost you a fortune. (http://auto.mercadolibre.com.uy/MLU-404 ... indros-_JM)

During the 60´s regional automotive industry started to kick in, most of them European brands as Fiat, Volkswagen, Renault also Chevrolet and Ford. Now a days we´re currently being invaded by the Chinese, but resale price is less than half of the initial price, so those who buy them cause they´re "cheep" will be in trouble.
To sum it up, we are driving 80´s and 90´s cars, paying for them as if they where new (in Europe and the US) and those who can afford to pay more, buy brand new modest cars for a rip off.

So a 2007 BMW 3 SERIES 325I costs here $50.000 and in the UK $20.000. :x
