I watched a guy do that on a Vespa (an old one, 4 speed manual) at a rally last summer..Scooter went up on it's rear wheel and the guy fell off, scoot ended up on it's side a good 30 feet away. If he hadn't been so drunk, he probably would have felt it. I know his checkbook felt the damge to the scoot.
