I found this bike at a flee market. Picked it up for 25 bucks. Put new tires on it because the old ones had big holes in the sidewalls. Other than that it rides awesome.

Looked up the serial number but couldnt find anything. serial number: S821062. It is on the left rear dropout.

There was a plaque on the head tube at some point but it is no more.

Help!

I haven't got a clue? Someone here will help though. Awesome pictures on your Flicker account though. I loved climbing when I was a younger lad.

That would be a Columbia. Serial puts it as a 1970 but the model name would only be known if the chainguard was present. Could have been a Playbike or several unnamed catalog models.

Thank you! Is there a database somewhere that you were able to look up the serial number. With original parts would this bike be worth anything?
