if there is one less digit it backs up to 1953 so check on that L,its likely a one or something.

Here is my 1953 Schwinn Starlet ballooner,you can see the difference.The script on your tank and the type of chainguard are likely from the 1960's

I think you have a Starlet chainguard. The rest of the bike I'm not so sure about. 8) Here's the Starlet I did for my wife. She's rode it twice in 15 yrs. :roll: Gary
