'Westfield" built, Columbia badged...34ish....look for another number stamping on the bb shell. Should be a letter and number separate from the #M81459. Odd that is has the non-clincher wheels for this era that look to be not original to the bike? Seat is also later..

Yes, this is why we need to see the other stamping (if present) as prefix letters were re-used over time by Westfield. It could very well be a 1948 model. Seat would become era appropriate if so. It does have the typical 40's paint scheme for "Columbia" Westfield. @Wildcat What would the badge be if so?

I don't see any other stampings but ill have to get it on the stand and look a little closer. I cant see it being a 48 seeing its skip tooth and skip link chain. did they still use those parts in 48? I thought skip tooth ended in like 41? but I don't know as much as you guys! thanks for the response!
i cant wait to make it a rider. I got all the bearings freed up. time for a tear down and bearing clean/polishing.
 
I believe that 1934-M would have the integrated chain tensioner screws (not the banjo style), that seemed to go away early post-war, yet retaining the older-style rear fork ends.
