Need help identifying year of Montgomery Ward Hawthorne bike

Hi, I just got a Montgomery Ward Hawthorne bike and was wondering how old it was. I heard that you can identify them within in a few years based on the "badge" on the front of the bike, can anyone help me out here?

Looks like a decal, those started in the later 60s. If it has a "BMA/6" sticker on the seat tube, I believe those started in 1971. -Adam
