need nexus 3 help...

it starts like this...

when you spin the wheel, it does not rotate very freely...
a few turns and it comes to a stop. is this normal/how it should be?
i tried adjusting the cone etc. with no luck... but now it feels weird... did i mess something up? or am i just paranoid?

How old is your hub? There will be some resistense as the planetary gears are working. More in 3rd than 1st(or visa versa).

I had suspicions about my Nexus 7, so I spun in my hands instead of the dropouts. I took it to the lbs to rebuild for $35.

Just spun one on my wifes with a tire on . gently spin 6 or 7 times. moderate spin 10+ times.

I just checked my own Nexus 3. It easily has 4000 miles on. Never rebuilt, with only a couple cleanings and lubrication. It turns only 5 or 6 times before stopping. I don't consider this to be a unusual for what I consider a somewhat "draggy" hub.

Basically, I've abandoned it for the higher mechanical efficiency of a single speed hub. By comparison, my cheap coaster hub spins forever.
