So at the conclusion of week one at my new job, all I have to say is "life is good". Went out to a job on Sleeper Island on tuesday, set up survey tools and shot a site for a house construction project, then on Wednesday sat down and got my hands dirty with AutoCad. Sent the customer a progress print on Thursday and got a "fantastic'! out of him. So far so good, everyone is very helpful even though I have to ask questions all the time. Already brought in two clients and possibly a larger business opportunity which I'll know more about next week.
