NERRB Dan's Solo Cape Cod Canal Ride Bourne, MA

How long is this ride; time and miles? I'm interested if PT/Dr says it's ok to ride my bike. Nursing a shoulder socket fracture from end of December. This would be a cool ride and looking forward to more later this year in MA.

It’s a short ride of about 8-miles max, we ride at a relaxed pace. After the ride we go across the bridge and have burgers or sea food at a restaurant on the ‘cape side’. Ride start is at about 10:30 and we are done riding in about 2ish hours; we then go to lunch and it’s normally over by 3P.

Well, our riding season begins next Sunday, followed two weeks later in Simsbury; it's about time!

I will be looking into a way to attach a sail
to my bike and taking my thermals out
of storage in preparation for this ride.

Well, in Manchester we rode through rain and sand; on the Cape it'll be light snow and the other unexpected stuff Mother Nature will throw at us.

The question is, should we move it to the following Sunday 4/10? I hate to postpone a riding date, last year there were a couple due to extenuating circumstance's.
