I know there are some mixed feelings about the new Schwinns made in China and all but every now and then I spot a deal and just can't leave without it. Me and the wife went to Target tonight and they had this Schwinn Legacy on sale for 97 bucks, after looking it over really good, and taking a wrench off the shelf and loosening the rear wheel as to loosen the chain before I test rode it through the store, durn chain was as tight as a banjo string. 97 bucks was exactly what I paid for a set of cruiser wheels from my local bike shop, base line wheels, not even a rim strip. Guess where they were made,... China. I figure what the heck, there's 200 dollars parts alone in this bike if I had to buy em seperate. I can honestly say, this bike was actually built by a Chinamen that cared, the decals where on straight, almost everything was adjusted correctly and the paint is perfect and super slick, almost looks as though there is a little quality control over there now. The wheels are trued perfectly straight and spokes are nice and tight. First order of operations for this one was to re-pack and adjust the rear coster with full synthetic Mobil One grease, as I do with all of my coaster brakes, she rolls forever now and super smooth. Next was to add a laid back seat post so she rides comfy and no pressure on the knees  gettin older, gotta think about these kind of things. Other then that, bars, grips and stem, lower profile and a couple of fine adjustments and she's awesome to bomb the neighborhood on, just looks clean with the cream wheels and painted fenders.
