New bike with a crazy fork

I picked up this hawthorne bike today in a trade but it's got this make shift rigged up fork. I believe it's a springer type fork like on the spaceliners. What all do I need to make it correct?

Seeing that pic is almost as bad as walking in on your parents...I think I am scarred for life now :shock: The rest of the bike looks awesome though

Yea no joke. The lady I got it from told me that she tried to ride it but the front wheel was wobbly I'm thinking it had more to do with the fork then the wheel.

It looks like a standard fork with all that stuff strapped to it. Just take all that stuff off and bolt the front wheel to the fork dropouts. Those flanges at the bottom look good, they are worth something, you could probably sell them here.

It's probably been lit on fire and left on somebody's front porch since that photo was taken...... :wink:
