While riding my bike I notice an occasional slipping of the hub. That is,the pedals seem to slip without providing any input to the rear wheel. Sometimes it slips a 1/8 of a revolution or so, sometimes 3/4 of a revolution, and anywhere in between. It was doing it before, and after I rebuilt the hubs. Any Ideas?

There may be a burr or rough spot in the Bendix threads joining forces with a loose anti-reversion spring. If not, the drive side of the shell may be excessively worn.

Thanks for trying to help me. Can you use the following diagram to help me better understand where to look? Thanks!

sorry to hijack the thread, but......
does part D-5 thread off counterclock or clock? I got one that is way stuck, and I hope I am not making it tighter.
Thanks for the help.
