Dear all

I am about to embark on a new electric cruiser build. Below is a photo of my current one (which I will keep as I love it).

I got a great deal on some used 3G linkage forks, but I cannot figure out how they can ever look any good? has anyone ever got these to look good? if so with what frame? I'd like to keep the length so I guess I'd need a decent slant angle on the headtube? If I put them on a Ruff porucho the bike will be nose high. So not even sure if they are good for any build or not, they look great on their own, so please send in your photos of bikes using them.

Yeah, I think i'm right, they don't work on anything very well that's not a chopper, unless you chop them, then if you do that why have them in the first place, just IMO. I've seen the phallic one on google, very embarrassing.

I'll abandon those forks I think, I really like these one offs from SantaBarbara cruisers, very like some AMF avengers I had.

I put mine on a rat fink . The fork was used & rusted . I took it apart & had it sand basted & powder coated in black chrome. It was a lot of work probably would have been Easier to buy a new fork. But Then it wouldn’t be one of a kind custom.

The ratfink looks nice, TBH I'm gonna sell them, I decided I'm not a big fan of them. I think the bottom part of the headtube bracket that hold the suspension coil should have stuck out more, in order to keep both the legs parallel to each other. Instead it lies back against itself creating bad lines, really easy to see in your photo.
