New find Today 11/19

I found this Mongoose mountain type bike at the dump. The wheels and tires had already been cut, but the frame was pretty cool so I grabbed it anyway. I had spare tires and rims laying around so I put this together. The original rims were 700's. I put 27 X 1.25's on it.
It's a decent beater bike now. 8)

Looks like an early '90s hybrid. I've got a very similar Univega from back then - loved that bike. Still have it, in fact.
Looks pretty clean - nice find. Always makes me wonder why someone would throw away something in that nice a condition. :?

Trust me it didn't look that nice when I brought it home, but I can always spot a diamond in the rough. :wink:
