ive been wondering if im the only guy out there that cant just go down to walmart and buy a bike off the shelf and start riding. my kids were bugging me to get a bike so i could go riding with them and i went and looked at a few bike shops and every bike i liked was super expensive and i can build one. ive been painting cars for the last 6 years so i went to a bike shop near my house they had some beat up old rusty bikes i picked up one for $20 and started sandblasting (luckily i was working at a custom car shop that has a huge sandblasting cabinet) then it was time for paint. i built the bike back up and was totally stoked about riding with the kids but now they want custom bikes too. i love this hobby and this site.
