Hi my name is Kelly and I'm a bikaholic, some of you may recognize me from other bike forums. First off I would like to thank you for creating a forum for bikes that arn't in pristine condition and are so fun to ride and play with. I have been into bikes since I was a young kid learning bicycle maintnance from my dad and having a shed with several bikes to work with. My first kustom was a Huffy BMX that I made into Mongoose because I couldn't afford the real thing. I have kustomized many bikes over the years from BMX, Mtn bikes, beachcruisers etc... My specialty now is motorized bikes done in various styles depending on how I feel when I start a new one. I still have a garage full of bikes and parts, so not a whole lot has changed in thirty years...Kelly
Here is a couple of bikes (or technically one) I have built recently.
This is the Frankenbike that a customer of mine had modified an old Huffy girls frame to accomidate one of my motors. He didn't want a good looking bike because it was going to spend alot of time alone and chained to a tree while he kayaks down the river. This bike did not work and was a mechanical disaster. It later became...
a bike that I have affectionatly called the Rat bike. After having issues with the Frankenbike not being straight, I had a bike that I salvaged from a trash pile. I stripped the AMF Roadmaster frame down and rattle canned it and swapped ALL of the parts from Frankenbike for a complete second build. This bike has parts from no less than five diffrent bikes on it.
