Here's some pics of the Klunker/Strandie type build I just finished it was a 21 speed MTB of unknown origin ( no stickers or decals whatsoever on it) but I am pretty sure it's one of those BCA Walmart bikes. Anyways I took off the rear cassette and replaced it with a single speed freewheel sprocket, stripped it all down and painted it put a suspension front forks with disc brake up front, threw on some BMX style Handlebars, cantilever brakes in the rear and then wrapped the 29 inch wheels in some bad Ass Maxxis tires.. so what do you guys think? Klunker or strandie? I think it came out pretty bad ass. And how much you think I can sell it for? Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance.

I did a similar build with a cheap MTB my wife bought for me. Tore off all the crappy 21 speed stuff and put on a Sram 2 speed.

I would say yours is more of a Klunker than a Strandie. Strandies have more of a cruiser type look.

Right on man it looks bad ... what kind of MTB frame is that?
That's the cheapest bike (made in China) that can be bought here, about 80 bucks brand new. Everything was upgraded. This is what it looked like, classic backward forks:
