Looks great so far. Why not weld the stud into the hole you drilled then grind the weld flush with the surface then you have the stealth look your going for.

Real Gear TIG 200. its just enough for the home builder. the horse magazine built a motorcycle frame with one.

TIG is cool, lots nicer than my little wire feed, but you get what you can afford. It's ok, I'm good with a grinder.
