After a year and a half ago, my brother and I built the first Petrobalts, we ride them almost every day and are just in awe of our toys! But as time goes on, wishlist changes and my brother wanted his own "parade" bike, completely finished and looking like a branded one. I have already made a female cruiser "Aurora" for his Frau, and a cargo "Samson" for myself. Only my brother still drives an unpainted prototype.
Today is his lucky day and we are starting to build a premium custom for him.

My brother is tall and 26 "was not enough for him, on his bike he looks" not harmonious "(in his words)
Therefore, we decided to make a version of Petrobalt on 27.5 "wheels.
Finally, we found a person who would make us a set of drawings so that we would not later explain again and again what to do every time.

Love those frames and would gladly import a few to Europe once you are running them on a bigger scale! And surely would gladly own one myself, but that is once i get enough money :D

Well, now I'll tell you about the fork.
The first part of our dance with tambourines did not work out - we wanted to make a fork out of a 30x3mm aluminum tube. But our pipe bender said "Goodbye! I no longer work with you and am leaving for a better world where pipes do not need to bend, but you just need to stand beautifully in the corner as an expensive hanger for wires."
I had to urgently change the tactics and design concept as a whole. In addition, the old pipe bender chewed up our entire supply of 30 mm pipes.
Looking at the remaining 25 mm of tubing, I came up with a fork with variable-diameter legs. It was necessary to cut the pipe lengthwise and weld the inserts.

And that's what happened in the end. A day of work was spent making it.
